Jared Padalecki

Jared Padalecki was born to Gerald and Sherri on July 19, 1982 in San Antonio, Texas. Jared started studying acting at an early age of 12 and got his first role when he won ‘Fox's Claim to Fame Contest’ in 1999. He played certain roles on-stage during his schooling. After graduation, he went to LA for pursuing his acting interests instead of attending college.  
Jared appeared in the ‘Teen Choice award’ and was also a candidate for Presidential Scholars Program. He also won ‘National Forensic League's National Speech Tournament’ in the Duo category. Apart from acting, Jared was a host in ‘Room 401’, MTV reality show and served as executive producer of ‘For Her’, first album by Brian Buckley Band. Gradually, he starred in many TV shows and movies playing the role of a wealthy suitor in ‘Ring of Endless Light’ and the victim of a car accident in an episode of ER.
Jared first successful hit was as Dean Forrester, love interest of Alexis Bledel's Rory Gilmore in popular TV series Gilmore Girls. He was regular on the show through the five seasons. During his 2nd and 3rd season, he also appeared in several TV films like ‘New York Minute’, ‘The Flight of the Phoenix’ and played cameo in ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’. Later he joined sci-fi thriller series, Supernatural where he played the role of devil hunting along with co-star Jensen Ackles. He also ventured onto big screens, starring in films like ‘The Christmas Cottage’ and ‘House of Wax’.
