Speech From Robert Redford- A Fine Arts Professional To The College Graduates

Robert Redford, the two-time academy award winner has started encouraging college students to be free from fear in the world filled with challenges. He also encouraged them to participate in other forms of art and entertainment in order to overcome the challenges and daunting obstructions in life. Redford received an honorary award in fine arts from his school in front of thousands of audiences, including about 500 graduates. He told the others that they are stepping into a world that is loaded with challenges and difficulties.
Redford told them that they have climatic changes, political paralysis, wars and many more. However, these difficulties and challenges can be overcome fearlessly. The 78-year-old actor, producer and director told the graduates that they have the essential tools by means of which they can bring about a difference.  He even told them that they should not be afraid of failure and taking risks. On the contrary, they should be bold because the world is in need of fearful and bold people that can excel not only in academics, but also in arts and entertainment.
In this context, he clearly mentioned that collaboration and connection are the two major elements that are required in the life of people. This connection is not only required between people, but also between people and the environment. Redford’s grandson was one among the 500 graduates. Redford is the founder of the Sundance Film Festival. He is widely known for his performances in large numbers of films.
